How Helix Works

01

Community Selects

Members help identify products and batches where independent testing would provide value.

02

Coordinated Participation

Helix may coordinate member participation to help obtain representative samples from the same production batch.

03

Independent Lab Testing

Samples are submitted to qualified third-party laboratories for applicable analytical testing.

04

Transparent Results

Results are shared with the community regardless of whether the outcome is positive or negative.

We test the batch. We do not endorse the vendor.

Why Coordinated Buys Matter

Laboratory testing becomes more meaningful when the tested sample is representative of what participating members actually receive.

By coordinating participation around the same production batch whenever possible, Helix can improve the connection between the tested sample and the products received by the community.

Same Batch Focus

Helps reduce uncertainty caused by testing unrelated inventory.

Community Sampling

Allows members to participate in testing rather than relying solely on vendor-provided reports.

Independent Verification

Testing is performed by independent third-party laboratories.

Even within the same batch, vial-to-vial variation and laboratory measurement variation can occur. A laboratory result represents the sample tested and should not be interpreted as a guarantee for every vial.

Frequently asked questions

What is a coordinated testing round?

A coordinated testing round is a fixed participation window in which members obtain products from the same representative production batch through one vetted vendor, so those samples can be submitted for independent laboratory testing.

Why does Helix coordinate group buys?

Coordinating purchases helps us improve sample representativeness by allowing multiple members to participate in the same production batch. This enables more meaningful batch-level testing and comparison. Helix does not manufacture or sell the products being tested.

How is the testing fee different from the vendor payment?

The testing fee is paid to Helix and covers independent third-party laboratory testing. Vendor payments are separate and split into a trial stage and a final stage, each with its own proof and review.

Which payment methods are supported?

Stripe, PayPal and Zelle. Zelle and other manual methods require a proof upload, which an administrator or the vendor reviews before participation advances.

Can I change my order after submitting?

No. Coordinated member orders lock at submission so pricing and quantities stay accurate for the batch. Contact an administrator if something is wrong and it can be corrected with a full audit record.

How is my shipping address handled?

Addresses are validated before use and a permanent snapshot is stored with the order, so later edits to your address book never change an order already in flight.
