1. Your choice and financial responsibility
Participation is entirely voluntary. You make your own independent purchasing decisions and accept the financial risks of transactions with independent vendors. To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither Helix Group Testing nor its owners or administrators, personally, assumes responsibility for your purchasing decisions, vendor transactions or associated financial losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Risks you knowingly accept
You may lose some or all of the money paid. These risks apply even when a vendor has previously performed well or a previous sample has passed testing.
- Products that fail independent testing, are incorrect, underfilled, contaminated or of poor quality.
- Shipping delays, customs seizure, shipment loss or non-delivery.
- Vendor failure or closure, unavailable refunds or replacements, and changes in laws or supply chains.
3. Helix's limited role
Helix coordinates community participation and representative purchasing logistics where appropriate, independent third-party laboratory testing, and sharing of results. Helix does not manufacture, own, sell, compound, package, fulfil or ship vendor products and is not their merchant of record. Independent vendors are responsible for their goods, transactions, shipping and customer service. Neither Helix nor its owners or administrators personally guarantees products, vendor performance, refunds, replacements or delivery. Vendor selection is not a certification, endorsement or warranty.
4. Research use only · Age 21+
You must be at least 21 years old and legally permitted to participate in your jurisdiction. All materials are strictly for laboratory research use only—not for human or veterinary use, consumption or administration. You are responsible for lawful purchasing, handling, storage and use. Helix provides no medical advice, diagnosis, prescribing or treatment recommendations; consult an appropriately licensed healthcare professional for medical decisions.
5. Independent testing and its limitations
Laboratory results apply only to the specific samples tested, not every vial or future batch. Results may differ between samples, laboratories, methods and batches. Testing does not guarantee potency, purity, sterility, safety or effectiveness. Both passing and failing results are published as reported; timing depends on the laboratory. The separately identified Helix lab testing contribution funds independent testing, is paid to Helix rather than the vendor, and is non-refundable once the sample has been submitted to the laboratory, including if testing fails.
6. Address and payment responsibility
Check your items, quantities and complete, deliverable shipping address before submitting. Once the round closes, the address is sent to the vendor and cannot be changed. Verify the vendor, destination, method, exact amount and any crypto network before sending each payment. A small verification payment helps identify your payment; it does not guarantee vendor performance or recovery of funds. Choosing full payment without verification carries additional payment-error risk. Helix cannot recover or assume responsibility for funds sent incorrectly or packages lost because of an incorrect address, subject to applicable law.
